Museo Arqueológico Precolombino  

 In the old quarter (casco antiguo) discover the area's history through the unique
ARCHAEOLOGY MUSEUM (Museo Arqueologico) The marble floor comes from an eighteenth
century boat which sank with its cargo just off the coast, and the museum has an impressive
collection of pre-Columbus and Neolithic pieces gathered from the surrounding area.
There's also a permanent display of artefacts from Mexico and Central America, gifted
to the Museum by its director, the anthropologist Don Felipe Orlando.

Plaza de Espańa

One of the oldest plaza in the area with its famous sculpture, "La Nińa de Benalmádena" .

Castillo de Colomares

  There's also a spectacular monument to Christopher Columbus, the Castillo de Comares. It shows Columbus' arrival in the New World, constructed recently by a doctor and his son, and represents the discovery of America with the help of various archictectural styles.

Plaza de Toros

  Situated between Benalmádena Pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel, where the visitor can enjoy corridas during all the year.

Jardin de las Aguilas

   Right next to the Castillo de Colomares is the Jardin de las Aguilas, a sanctuary for birds of prey. It hosts many different varieties of raptor, rehabilitating injured birds, and breeding from others. There are also regular displays of falconry.

Telecabina

  The Telecabin is situated in Arroyo de la Miel just in front of the Tivoli World park Amusement and very near the train station. It goes from Tívoli-Monte Calamorro in cabins with a capacity for 4 personns and goes up to 700 meters high, with a speed of 16 Kms./hora aprox. The trip takes 15 minutes along 2.640 m. There are 64 cabins in total.

Plaza de la Mezquita

  Leisure area with a wide selection of bars and restaurants in a very quiet atmosphere. In special days ( New year Eve, Christmas etc..) the visitor can enjoy music concerts and different kind of celebrations.

Puerto Deportivo 

 The marina is man-made, created using artificial islands and has its own special ambience. Voted "Best Marina in the World" in 1995, it also boasts some particularly attractive architecture.

Castillo Bil Bil

CASTILLO BIL BIL, a neo-Arab construction built in 1934. As well as a visitor attraction and wonderful viewing platform out over the Med, it's used by the Town Hall as an exhibition centre and a venue for various concerts and cultural events.

Campo de Golf Torrequebrada

  Since it first opened in 1976 this Pepe Gancedo masterpiece has been recognised as one of the most beautiful courses on the Costa del Golf.Venue for the Spanish Open 1977.Here, the tee shot is of prime importance. A wild drive and all may be lost as trees, woods, rough, bunkers and water are all very much to the fore. Should you be tempted to confuse short length with ease of play, the third hole - only 80 metres to a long and narrow contoured green - will soon disabuse you of this notion.

Paseo Marítimo 

 Benalmadena's paseo maritimo is lined with small shops and bars and fronts a long, wide beach that is kept clean and has lifeguard service. Benalmadena is certainly an attraction for tourists, most of which come on package deals as is reflected in the number of high-rise hotels that line the seafront.

Sea-Life

   One of the attractions that has to be visited in Benalmadena, is the Sea Life Centre which is located next to the marina. One of the first attractions on the agenda as you enter is the tank containing the stingrays. One of the startling things about this display is the closeness of the fish. It is also possible to obtain food which the fish will take from your fingers. As you wander round at a leisurely pace you come across various displays, all of which are accessible and of great interest, especially with the children. The laboratory marino is next with starfish, hermit crabs and many other strange creatures. There are members of staff available to allow closer examination.
